Dark themes in Media

This is a general opinion on how dark themes like violence, sadism etc., have been penetrating the media, especially movies. Movies like that being made is one thing and they becoming box-office hits is the major thing. As we all know, most people love to embrace darkness, the animal instincts. Maybe it's their insecurities, need for attention, need to prove themselves they are really evolved make them go watch and appreciate such movies. By the way, all these traits I mentioned are disturbing and immature traits. People also think that they are just watching the movie but they are not going to commit whatever heinous stuff that main character(s) did the in movie. Our thoughts form our actions, what we watch, hear and listen either with complete attention or half attention, form our actions. Unfortunately this simple concept is beyond most people's so-called intelligence.

There is a Bollywood/Indian movie that's recently released, it has made lot of profits on the screens and now it's on Netflix - free for any ages to watch! The name of this movie is "Animal". If I can make animals watch this movie and if I can understand their language, they will be ashamed that this movie has is titled so! Animals aren't dark or evil, they just kill for the sake of their livelihood and/or self-protection. But the human animals are dark, violent and propagate heinous crimes in the world.

What do we do about the directors that create such heinous movies and actors who act in it for the sake of fame and money? I just wonder about the politicians who preach about God and who construct temples to get the needed attention, don't they realize how those movies and people who create such movies are more dangerous than anyone in the world? Because themes like these are hypnotizing people into developing more of their dark sides, ultimately wrecking havoc on society.

Well, this is ascending Kaliyuga, some of us can only silently watch the unspeakable attitudes of the current society and feel sad about how some directors/actors are contributing in spreading gore and torture in the name of "art". Art must be uplifting, anything that is promoting evil however "creative" that might be isn't art, it's called "pure evil". Few of us humans who are concerned about such evil can't do a thing to stop from spreading, only the Divine has to take action now, even if that means collective action, so that the materialism and the darkness does not consume humanity entirely.
